What should you put in your wedding day EMERGENCY KIT
We all know Murphy's law -- the best way to handle the unexpected, is to be prepared! Here's a list of what you should bring with you on your wedding day -- just in case!
For The Bride
- Sewing kit with matching thread for your dress and your bridesmaids dresses
- Aspirin
- Breath mints
- Bottled water
- Snacks (crackers, cheese, grapes)
- Extra make-up (cover-up, lipstick)
- Hand mirror
- Hair spray
- Comb or brush
- Hand lotion
- Q-tips
- Tissues
- Tampons
- Clear Nail Polish
- Nail File
- Extra pairs of nylons
- Safety Pins
- Masking Tape
- Contact lens case and solution (if used, don't forget your glasses if needed)
- Artificial tears for dry eyes
- Stapler (for quick repairs to the dress, shoes etc)
- Wet cloth in a ziplock baggie (if it is hot or to wash off makeup in the field)
Stuff like this should be left with your maid of honour to take care of in a small bag. Many times this bag can be left in the back room of the church (your ready room) and under the head table at the reception.
If there is no place to put this I would be more then happy to carry it for you.
For The Groom
- Aspirin
- Breath mints
- Bottled water
- Hair spray (if used)
- Comb or brush
- Contact lens case and solution (if used, don't forget your glasses if needed)
- Shoe polish
- Wet cloth in a ziplock baggie (if it is hot to cool off in the field)
This stuff can be kept in a small bag and kept with your best man. I would be more then happy to take care of this stuff for you if needed.
Remember mishaps do happen - be prepared so your wedding day is fantastic
